The standard portfolio of the precision connector series RPC-1.00 has been revised and significantly expanded.
Flexible and semi-rigid cable assemblies are offered in the RPC-1.00 - RPC-1.00 interface configuration as well as in the RPC-1.00 - RPC-1.35 / RPC-1.85 / WSMP configurations. Low-cost "economical" versions are also available.
Inter-Series adapters are now also available in the RPC-1.00-WSMP version, test port adapters and launcher jacks are also new in the program. The standard program is rounded off by in-series adapters, PCB connectors, waveguide coaxial adapters and gauge kits. Customized cable assemblies with or without armoring are available upon request.
RPC 1.00 connectors and cable assemblies are used for demanding test and measurement applications up to 110 GHz and are characterized by highest reliability and repeatability, excellent return loss values and mating compatibility with all common 1.00 mm connectors.
In response to customer needs and market demands, Rosenberger North America (RNA) has expanded their Pennsauken, NJ facilities to include a 10,000 square feet manufacturing building for the hermetic assembly department.
The expansion will allow more room to increase RNA production and support processes, including different process and atmosphere furnaces, vacuum, and induction heating. A larger test lab will allow RNA to bring environmental testing in-house.
Rosenberger WSMP® NexGen Connectors, bullets and cable assemblies are extremely compact and capable of handling frequencies up to 100 GHz.
WSMP® connectors are about 45 % smaller than standard SMP connectors for allowing high packing density. Featuring a push-on coupling mechanism and enabling a minimum board-to-board distance of 3.05 mm, they are optimized for customer-specific footprints and layout recommendations. They are certified according to DIN EN 9100 for aerospace applications.
Rosenberger’s RPC-1.35 precision connector series meets the growing demand for precision, high-performance RF-connections up to 90 GHz. The range addresses the expanding market for 5G, industrial sensors in the E-Band, millimeter wave sensors for self-driving vehicles, WLAN IEEE 802.11ax and 802.11ay. RPC-1.35 connectors offer a highly robust mechanical design, minimum 3000 mating cycles, high connector repeatability, and maximum return loss values – ideal for ensuring RF measurements in the E-Band without delays.
