The IEEE International Microwave Symposium (IMS) 2023 exhibit was held at the San Diego Convention Center this month. Rosenberger had a great week in San Diego featuring innovative new products and capabilities, and catching up with our business partners and attendees. We look forward to seeing you in 2024!
At this year's IMS we presented a RoProxCon demo board for attendees to see and learn about.
RoProxCon is an innovative connection system that bridges construction-related air gaps with high interference immunity. This transmission, realized by radio transceivers in the mmWave range, offers advantages in applications where there are high requirements for low maintenance and freedom from wear. With RoProxCon, existing applications can be improved while also allowing new solutions to be created for previously unrealizable scenarios.
With RoProxCon, transmission in full duplex mode of up to 6 Gbps is possible. In addition, this solution allows data to be transmitted regardless of the protocol used. This means RoProxCon is transparent in the transmission channel. An additional adaptation to a further transmission standard is therefore not necessary. Furthermore, real-time capability is guaranteed. Use in time-critical applications, e.g. in automation technology is therefore possible without restriction.

This year, Rosenberger has expanded the manufacturing capabilities of FAKRA, HFM® (High-Speed FAKRA Mini) and H-MTD® cable assemblies to Rosenberger North America.
The production line at Rosenberger North America features the same processes, tooling, equipment, and quality of Rosenberger parts. These products are assembled in-house with state-of-the-art machinery and tooling designed by Rosenberger.
RFMW, one of Rosenberger's Authorized Distributors, invited us to their exhibit at this year's IMS. Kevin McCormack from RFMW and Rosenberger North America's Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Nick Parker, introduced in a product highlight video our Multiport Mini-Coax Connectors and Cable Assemblies from our Test & Measurement business area.
